Sloviansk/Moscow - Most of the militia forces in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) left Sloviansk encircled by Ukrainian security forces in the early hours of July 5, Sloviansk Mayor Volodymyr Pavlenko told Interfax-Ukraine on Saturday, July 5.

“There are no militiamen in the city,” Pavlenko said, adding that Ukrainian security forces were taking the city center under control.
