When asked if the country’s Interior Minister would be questioned on
the criminal case on abuse of power by the police on the night of
November 30 on Independence Square, Kalifitsky said: “Of course…the
minister has been summoned for questioning on Friday to the Main
Investigatory Department.”

He said that the investigators have questioned Kyiv Police Chief
Valeriy Koriak, his deputy, deputy interior ministers and a number of
Berkut riot police employees.

The central office of the Prosecutor General’s Office is in charge of the investigation into the case.
