Energy ministries of Ukraine and Russia will discuss restoration of power supplies in Donbas, Special Envoy of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Martin Sajdik told reporters in Minsk on July 27.

“The issue of restoring power lines [in Donbas] was discussed at a meeting of the economic subgroup. Further talks will be held at the level of relevant ministries of Ukraine and the Russian Federation to accelerate the process,” Sajdik said.

He said that the economic subgroup also discussed water supply in Donbas. Ukraine made its proposals on the tariffs that are to be approved by relevant administrative agencies in Ukraine, he said.
