You're reading: Ukrainian side in JCCC reports shelling of Krasnohorivka town in Donbas

A school and a residential building in the town of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka district, Donetsk region, have been damaged as a result of shelling with weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements, Ukrainian spokesman for the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Vadym Bakai has said.

Yet another hostile shell attack in Krasnohorivka caused damage to its residential sector, the Ukrainian special operation’s press center said on Facebook. This time around, shooting was directed at Staromykhailivka, according to the statement.

Mortar rounds of the 82 millimeter caliber hit and damaged the roof of one house and the windows and household appliances inside another, according to the Ukrainian side.

Also, a tank shell hit and damaged the foundation and the external wall of local secondary education school No. 1, the press center said.

There are no casualties among Krasnohorivka residents, according to the statement.
