“On the night of June 8-9 one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ military bases in the town of Artemivsk, Donetsk region, was approached by about 50 terrorists in a Kamaz truck and two cars, who fired automatic weapons and hand- and under barrel grenade launchers at the administrative and technical territory of the military base. The intense firing continued for nearly one hour,” the statement said.

The military personnel offered resistance and destroyed the truck belonging to the militants. The inspection of their vehicle revealed that one attacker had been killed; bullets and grenade launchers were found in the back of the truck.
