The change in Crimea status within Russia means the peninsula is going to be a subject of Russian "unified state policy". Moscow is going to "cleanse" the region until it meets the standards of the so-called Russian world, says Crimean Tatar Mejlis leader Refat Chubarov, according to Ukraine Today.
