Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul has said that the damage caused by a heavy snowfall in Kyiv is estimated at tens of millions of hryvnias.

“It will be possible to make an analysis after [the consequences of the heavy snowfall] are eliminated. I think that the amount will be calculated at tens of millions [of hryvnias],” he told journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Vilkul also said that over 300 vehicles from enterprises of all forms of ownership were currently involved in cleaning up and removing snow.

“Once the work is completed, a decision will be made on the amount to be compensated from the reserve fund,” he added.
