KHARKIV – A judge of Kyivsky District Court in Kharkiv, Kostiantyn Sadovsky, rejected even those petitions the defense team of former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko never filed, Tymoshenko's defense lawyer Serhiy Vlasenko has stated.
"Judge Rodion Kireyev number two was born today. Judge Rodion Sadovsky today rejected even those petitions we never filed, including the one on stopping the preliminary hearing. We did not ask for that, but they rejected it just in case," Vlasenko told reporters on Friday at the Court of Appeals of Kharkiv region.
He added that the hearings of the case on the activities of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) Corporation reminded him of the trial on the gas case at Pechersky District Court in Kyiv.
"Judge Sadovsky is subordinate to Yanukovych, the same as Kireyev," Vlasenko said.
