Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko's defense lawyer, MP Serhiy Vlasenko, has stated that criminal cases have been opened against him.
“They have opened criminal cases,” Vlasenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
He showed a ruling of Kyiv’s Pechersky District Court reading that a criminal case against him was opened under Article 382 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (non-fulfillment of court rulings).
According to Vlasenko, the ruling was dated Jan. 16, 2013.
