A number of saddening incidents have been reported to the Central Elections Committee in the first hours of the parliamentary election in Ukraine, some of them lethal.

A 71-year-old man died at a Lviv polling station. After casting his ballot the septuagenarian complained he wasn’t feeling fell and later died. In a similar incident in the town of Irpin near Kyiv, a 76-year-old woman died soon after voting.
