You're reading: Western Information Agency: Khoroshkovsky could be replaced as head of SBU

In a Dec. 12 report, Ukraine's Western Information Agency quoted political analyst Volodymyr Fesenko as saying that Valery Khoroshkovsky could soon be ousted as head of Ukraine's SBU state security agency. Citing Fesenko, Western Information Agency pointed to Hryhory Illyashov as a possible candidate to replace Khoroshkovsky. Illyashov currently serves as head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Agency. He is also the husband of Olena Lukash, deputy head of President Viktor Yanukovych's Presidential Administration. Click here to read report.
