Fesenko is a parliament deputy with the Party of Regions faction who belongs to the Rada’s Judiciary Committee. Born in 1949, he graduated from Kharkiv Institute of Law. He was chairman of the Court of Appeals of Luhansk region from 1996 through 2006.

The Council of Venice, also known as European Commission for Democracy through Law, announced last week that it would offer its opinion on parliament’s re-organization of Ukraine’s court system in mid-October.
