You're reading: Yanukovych calls for roads in Lviv region to be repaired

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has called for roads in Lviv region, including the access roads to national parks in the region, to be repaired.

"Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is insisting on the need to ensure the reconstruction of a number of public roads in 2012," the presidential press service reported on Thursday.

The president said during his visit to Lviv that the issue concerned the roads leading to the city.

In addition, Yanukovych ordered the reconstruction and development of the access roads to the Yavorivsky, Pivnichne Podillia and Skolivski Beskydy national nature parks and the Roztochia nature reserve.

Yanukovych on Thursday visited Lviv, one of the four Euro 2012 host cities in Ukraine.
