The issue of land reform and the settlement of land relations in Ukraine will be resolved in the near future, President Viktor Yanukovych has said.
"The land law in Ukraine, to put it mildly, is not working, and we know that the shadow trade in land is too high. So it’s currently extremely necessary to finalize the land legislation as quickly as possible and launch agricultural reform," he told reporters in Kyiv on Tuesday.
At the same time, Yanukovych said that the government would discuss these issues with experts and public figures.
