Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych demands law enforcers should keep from any interference into business activities.

The government’s strategic priorities are efficient economic and
social reforms, the introduction of European standards of living and
ensuring the constitutional rights of people, the president said while
greeting prosecutors on their professional holiday.

“The important changes that are currently taking place in Ukraine are made for the sake of people,” he said.

According to Yanukovych, they are first of all aimed at improving living standards and reducing poverty.

“In order to solve these tasks, the country needs to create
attractive investment environment and proper conditions for legitimate
and successful business activities. This is where you need to focus your
efforts. I demand law enforcers should rule out any interference in
business activities, because the business climate in the country largely
depends on you, and on your attitude,” the president stressed.
