Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will make a visit to the United States to attend the 67th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, a diplomat told Interfax-Ukraine.

“A visit by Viktor Yanukovych to New York, the United States, is scheduled for September 24-26,” the source told the agency.

It will be the president’s third visit to the UN General Assembly’s session.

The agenda of the 67th session will include the following topics:
promotion of sustained economic growth and sustainable development in
accordance with the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly and
recent United Nations conferences, maintenance of international peace
and security, development of Africa, etc.
