Yalta, Sept.16 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine remains committed to EU integration and will seek the creation of a free trade area, the signing of an association agreement with the EU and the simplification of the visa regime, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said.

"The question of Ukraine’s accession to the Customs Union is not on the agenda," he said at the 8th Yalta Annual Meeting, entitled "Ukraine and the World: Common Challenges, Common Future," on Friday.

"We’ve made up our mind – we have laws and the constitution, which we are observing," Yanukovych said, referring to the law on the main principles of Ukraine’s domestic and foreign policy.
