Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has attended the ceremony to unveil the Independence Monument on Constitution Square in Kharkiv, according to the president's press service.
Yanukovych stressed that the monument symbolizes Ukrainians’ dream of freedom, fight for independence, and striving for new victories and achievements.
The president also congratulated everyone on the upcoming Independence Day and Day of Kharkiv.
