An Automaidan activist was killed and burned in his car in Zaporizhzhya.

As the website 061 has it, according to preliminary information of a source in the militia, an assailant fired into the gas tank of the car, which caused its explosion.

 The wife of the deceased man barely recognized her husband. 

On February 13, a Toyota automobile burned on the road between the villages of Chervoniy Yar and Ivanhorod in Zaporizhzhya district. A family friend revealed that the victim in the car, Serhiy Seneka, was an active participant of Automaidan.

According to the woman, the wife of the deceased was able to identify her husband only by his wedding ring, because the whole body of the man was totally burned.

In addition to his involvement with Automaidan, the victim also engaged in private business.

It is incumbent upon the militia to establish which of these activities could motivate Serhiy Seneka’s murder.

 A source in the law enforcement body also confirmed the information about the murder of the activist. This case is included in the Single Register of Investigation as a homicide (Article 115, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
