Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov will make an official visit to the Czech Republic on Monday.

During the visit, Azarov will meet with Czech President Vaclav Klaus, Prime Minister Petr Necas, President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament Milan Stech, and Minister of Industry and Trade Martin Kuba.

A number of bilateral documents are to be signed during the visit, in particular, an intergovernmental agreement on scientific and technological cooperation, an agreement on cooperation in culture between the culture ministries of Ukraine and the Czech Republic, a protocol amending the convention between the government of Ukraine and the Czech Republic on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion regarding taxes on income and property.

Azarov is also scheduled to open a Ukrainian-Czech business forum and lay flowers at the monument to Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.
