The Kyiv Central Post Office has partially reopened, the state postal enterprise Ukrposhta said on its website on Wednesday.

The Central Post Office in Kyiv has partially resumed its work as of February 26. ЭYou can receive or send a parcel in the parcels section and in the section for receiving business correspondence," the statement said.

All other sections of the enterprise are working as usual

On Feb.19 Euromaidan activists occupied the main post office and several other buildings of the capital, because the night before The House of Trade Union, headquarters of national resistance (organizational center of the protest), was on fire.

On Feb.20 security forces launched an attack on Independence Square, protesters were shot by snipers on Instytutska street.

Those days were the worst for the capital's Square, which is located very close to the post office.
