 The Kyiv Central Post Office has partially reopened, the state postal enterprise Ukrposhta said on its website on Wednesday.

 The Central Post Office in Kyiv has partially resumed its work as of
February 26. ЭYou can receive or send a parcel in the parcels section and
in the section for receiving business correspondence,” the statement
said.

All other sections of the enterprise are working as usual

On
Feb.19 Euromaidan
activists occupied the
main post office and several other buildings
of the capital, because the night before
The House of Trade Union, headquarters
of national resistance (organizational center of the protest),
was on fire.

On
Feb.20 security forces launched an attack on
Independence Square, protesters were shot
by snipers on
Instytutska street.

Those
days were the worst for the capital’s Square, which is located very
close to the post office.
