Entering Customs Union will give Ukraine significant benefits, in particular, elimination of export and import restrictions and reduction of customs duties, Communist Party Leader Petro Symonenko considers.

“This is a significant benefit for our producers, who can freely sell their products on the markets of all member countries of the Customs Union,” Symonenko said during his working trip to Pervomaisk (Mykolaiv region).

In addition, according to the leader of Ukrainian communists, reduction of customs duties will allow to achieve a decrease in energy costs for Ukraine.

“It’s really profitable for us, and in the future we should speak not only about a single economic space but also joining the Eurasian Economic Community, expanding our trade and economic relations with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS countries. Then Ukraine will not act as “a Cinderella” in relations with the EU,” he said.
