Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko doesn't rule out that separate provisions of the Association Agreement may come into force prior to the ratification of this document.

"In the short term, after the entry into force of the document or as a result of the application of its individual provisions even before ratification, which is also possible, this would be beneficial for the EU," Hryschenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on March 30.

He stressed that the Association Agreement was not a ‘gift’ to Ukraine.

"We do not see it as an instrument that benefits only one party. This is the result of complicated, long and at times very acute negotiations, which allowed us to reach the balance, which is beneficial for us in long and short term," the minister said.
