Kharkiv City Council approves project of media center for Euro 2012
According to the press service, the approved project foresees the construction of the facility on the basis of a metal framework with self-supporting walls and a glass front.
The press service reported that the Frunze Plant would be the main investor of the construction of the media center, the estimated cost of which is Hr 14 million.
DCH Company, owned by Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, which is a strategic partner of Kharkiv in the preparations for Euro 2012, will be a consultant at the construction.
The city budget will allocate some Hr 2.4 million for the construction of the media center, which will have workspaces for 350 reporters and 150 photographers.
The media center will contain halls for the media, offices for UEFA representatives, a coffee bar and rest rooms.
After the championship, the building will be reequipped into an automobile center with a service center.
