Lviv Railways is currently mulling whether to put on additional trains between Lviv and Truskavets as part of its preparations for the 2012 European Football Championship (Euro 2012).

Lviv Railways is currently mulling whether to put on additional trains between Lviv and Truskavets as part of its preparations for the 2012 European Football Championship (Euro 2012), according to the Infrastructure Ministry.
As the ministry's press service said, the city of Truskavets is considered to be a probable venue for many foreign football fans to stay during the Euro 2012, as the city has developed hotel infrastructure.

Four pairs of increased comfort trains run between Lviv and Truskavets every day. The railways is to additionally assign two pairs of trains between Lviv and Truskavets to service football fans when Lviv hosts Euro 2012 football matches, and if needed, one more pair of trains will be added if needed.

These trains will run without stopping at Stryi station and will have only a technical stop at the Drohobych station. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes.

Lviv Railways handles passengers and cargo. It is a center of transportation between Eastern and Western Europe, as it operates on the borders of Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia.
