Ukraine is already receiving gas from Europe via Poland and is looking at two additional routes to receive gas from Europe, Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky has said.

“For now we are getting gas via Poland only…And we are working on two more routes. Something will be known about them very soon,” he told reporters in Kyiv on Friday, Jan.18.

The previous energy and coal minister, Yuriy Boiko, said Ukraine could start importing gas from Germany not just via Poland but also via Hungary from January 1, 2013.
