A court of appeals in Odesa has upheld prosecutors' demand to extradite Adam Osmayev, the chief suspect in President Vladimir Putin's attempted assassination, to Russia.

The court on Tuesday found the defense lawyers’ arguments insufficient and upheld the Ukrainian Prosecutor General Office’s decision to extradite Osmayev to Russia at the request of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office, an Interfax correspondent reported.
