Ukraine has banned the transit of Russian-made armaments and military hardware across its territory, says a report posted on the Ukrainian government website on Sept. 12.
“As of now, Ukraine has prohibited the transit of Russian-made armaments and military hardware across Ukrainian territory and the export to Russia of military and dual-use goods for manufacturing and repairing armaments and military hardware for the Russian Armed Forces and other Russian Federation military units,” the report said.
The Ukrainian government proposed to make those provisions a separate type of sanctions.
The National Security and Defense Council will consider the government proposal and make a final decision which will take effect on presidential decree.
