The Batkivschyna United Opposition and the Svoboda Party have signed an agreement on the creation of a coalition of democratic forces in the new parliament. 

The signing ceremony in Kyiv on Friday was attended by the head of the council of the united opposition, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Svoboda leader Oleh Tiahnybok, Batkivshyna First Deputy Head Oleksandr Turchynov, For Ukraine Party leader Viacheslav Kyrylenko, leader of the People’s Movement of Ukraine Borys Tarasiuk, Reforms and Order Party leader Serhiy Sobolev, Civil Position leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko, and Deputy Head of the People’s Self-Defense Party Yuriy Hrymchak.

There was a place for UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko at the table where the agreement was signed. However, he did not participate in the signing ceremony, as he stated earlier that UDAR would consider the question of creating a coalition after the parliamentary elections.
