Voting at Rada elections to be broadcast online at http://vybory2012.ua
A Web site is to be created to broadcast video captured by Web cameras at polling stations during the vote at the October 28 parliamentary election in Ukraine.
The Central Election Commission approved a decision to create the Web site with the domain name http://vybory2012.ua at its meeting on Friday, Sept. 7.
As reported, shortly before the start of the parliamentary election campaign, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, passed a law on the organization of video surveillance of the elections, which foresees the installation of Web cameras at all polling stations, and allocated almost Hr 1 billion for this purpose.
The Ukrainian government selected SITRONICS Information Technologies to organize the video surveillance system at polling stations.
