WARSAW, Poland — Poland's prime minister has informed the country's president of the composition of his new Cabinet after his party won a second term in last month's elections.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk met President Bronislaw Komorowski to reveal which ministers will keep their posts and which will be replaced. Tusk is to announce the lineup publicly later Thursday.

On Friday, Tusk is to set out his policy in a speech to the parliament and ask lawmakers to approve the new Cabinet in a confidence vote, scheduled for the following day.

Tusk’s pro-business Civic Platform won the Oct. 9 elections, albeit short of a majority, and is continuing a coalition with small, farm-based Polish People’s Party.

Civic Platform is the first party to win a second consecutive term since Poland shed communism 22 years ago.
