The theme of this year’s World Population Day is "Investing in Young People". So where are the world’s youth? Niger has the most youthful population – one half of its people is younger that 14 – with Uganda and Chad not far behind. At the other end of the scale are Germany and Japan, where just 13 percent of the population is under 14 years old.
