You're reading: Placebo rocks it up for the third time

British rock band Placebo is going to perform in Kyiv for the third time after two successful visits in 2007 and 2010. It looks like they have decided to make it a regular gig, coming back once every two years.

During their last performance in Kyiv, the band easily gathered enough fans to fill the huge hall of the International Exhibition Centre. This time the band will perform at Palace of Sport, a.k.a Palats Sportu, as it did in 2007. Set lists of Placebo’s concerts are now filled with songs from the band’s latest album, Battle For The Sun from 2009, as well as their old hits, including Special K, Every Me And Every You and Teenage Angst.

Let’s just hope that band front man Brian Molko will feel good enough to make it through the concert, as one of the band’s recent summer festival performances was cut short after the very first song because of Molko’s bad fever.

Placebo. Sept. 20. Palats Sportu. 7 p.m. Hr 300-500
