A collection of American movies about the fashion industry, featuring stars of legendary fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar, will be screened in Kyiv cinema through March 31. 

Three movies – Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel (2011), starring Diana Vreeland, who was the magazine’s editor in 1937-1962; Funny Face (1953), in which Vreeland was the prototype for the main character, played by Audrey Hepburn, and; How to marry a millionaire (1953), a story about the life of the magazine’s face models, starring Marilyn Monroe, will be screened in original language with Ukrainian subtitles.

First published in 1867 in the U.S., Harper’s Bazaar is one of the oldest continuously published fashion magazines in the world.
