Then, love-themed animated and movie shorts will occupy the big screens of Kyiv, along with Belgian, American and Swedish comedies.

Unfortunately, people are often ashamed of their parents, distant relatives or barely known ancestors.
Frederick, who teaches in a medical school, insists on being called Fronk-en-steen, as any reference to his blood ties with the legendary mad scientist Viktor Frankenstein drives him crazy.
When Frederick finds out that he is the one to inherit grandfather’s spooky castle, where the mystic monster had been created, he heads to Transylvania unwillingly.
What he doesn’t know is that his lifelong beliefs are about to be turned upside down. He stumbles across his granddad’s diary and decides to repeat his experiments.
The movie is a famous parody on the classical horror genre purposefully filmed in black and white.

However, Yvan, a 40-something car dealer, managed to end up making friends with the young junkie Elie, whom he found hiding under his bed.
Of course, at first he tried to capture the burglar, and even threw a steel pipe at the man,knocking him down the stairs and injuring him. But then Yvan felt sorry for Elie and suggested giving him a lift to his parents’ house at the French border.

Like India itself, the country’s movies are filled with bright lights and colorful fabrics. So, if you have no chance to go to India, you can have a brush with it on the screen.
“A Week of Indian movies” presents five films of different genres, from comedy to sports drama. With the actors, you will travel into the 19th century India, admire the scenery of Goa, and dive into the Mumbai fashion industry.
