Although it’s called Welcome to Ukraine, this contemporary art exhibition is completely different from what you usually see on display in galleries.
Ivan Semesyuk, Andriy Yermolenko and Serhiy Kolyada, members of “Freedom of Death” Independent Artists Union, will present their new works.
They specialize in the most horrible stereotypes about Ukraine, and paint or draw in a sarcastic style bordering on repulsion. They play with different techniques, combining water painting with collages and graphic art. Apart from the exhibition the organizers promise a presentation of the souvenirs for Euro 2012.
