Legendary singer and songwriter Elton John is bringing his world tour “The Million Dollar Piano” to Kyiv.

Since his first hit “Your Song” in 1970, he has been winning over the hearts of people internationally for decades, even surpassing Elvis Presley in 1993 with the most top 40 hits. A band of 13 musicians, as well as an army of technicians, will accompany the singer to put on a spectacular show.

Among his other achievements, the singer has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, received a knighthood from the British queen, and has won six Grammy Awards. Most recently, Elton recorded the soundtrack to the cartoon Gnomeo and Juliette.

Besides his dazzling career as composer and pianist, Elton John has also been heavily involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS. During his last concert in Ukraine in 2009, he joined Ukrainian celebrities in Elena Pinchuk’s project “Antispid,” which auctioned off celebrity objects, offering a pair of his glasses.
