Yevheniy Kikhonov, economist: “I’m not very interested in politics, because it is not possible to understand what is actually going on.”

Nadiya Synyavska, lawyer: “From the judicial standpoint they are entirely right, but concerning the morality, it’s not so simple. Initially, it’s Ukraine’s task to adduce evidences and to prove these politicians’ guilt. Only then we can put the question to the Court of European Union.”

Iryna Kushnir, business consultant: “I think it’s the fault of Ukrainian officials who didn’t prove the guilt of these politicians. European countries are legal states. They cannot apply sanctions just because some people are ‘bad”

Ihor Shafryhin, retired: “I’m positive about the cancellation…I don’t support Azarov and others, but why should the European court impose sanctions on them? Do we have evidence? Did we have a trial here, in Ukraine? Is the investigation finished? No, no, and again, no.”

Elvira Bezmenova, pensioner: “The court should not cancel sanctions. To the contrary, it needs to take away all money from these politicians!”
