Leo A. Krasnozhon
Visiting assistant professor of economics at the University of Texas at Arlington.
I grew up in Ukraine. When I was 22 years old, I received a scholarship to attend a graduate program at Clark University, MA, USA. Then I attended George Mason University where I received my PhD.

Since then I have taught at the Department of Economics of George Mason University, the Department of Economics of the University of Texas - Arlington, and the Department of Political Science of the University of North Texas.

I was a research fellow at several American think tanks: the Property and Environment Research Center, the Institute for Humane Studies, and the American Institute for Economic Research.

My research interest is in politics and economics of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries started their transition from socialism in 1991.
