Irina Pavlova
Iryna Pavlova, a Ukrainian citizen, currently lives and works in New York City, where she moved after completing her degree in economics. She spends most of her free time volunteering for organizations that support the Ukrainian culture, primarily folk music and dance.
Integrating into a foreign environment as a teenager is not an easy task, especially if one comes from a newly independent state often labeled as “part of Russia,” “a borderland” or “the home of Chornobyl.”
