Yuschenko announced this on November 19 at a meeting with employees of Turboatom.
"We will not give the factory to anyone. It is an enterprise that is operating successfully," said Yuschenko.
According to Yuschenko, the current financial crisis will not affect Turboatom because it has orders for 4-5 years and there is high demand for its products.
Yuschenko stressed that Turboatom has survived 35 lawsuits over the past two years and that the aim of these lawsuits was to prevent it from operating normally.
According to Yuschenko, Ukraine's energy program is based on development of nuclear energy, including construction of 21 nuclear reactors.
Yuschenko said that this program could be implemented only with the help of Turboatom.
Turboatom's Director-General Viktor Subotin presented the company's honorary award to Yuschenko at the end of the meeting.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yuschenko suspended in October a Cabinet of Ministers resolution that transferred the power to manage the state's shares in the Turboatom turbine company to the Industrial Policy Ministry.
