Kyiv, November 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine has banned the import of cattle and wild ruminant animals and their meat from Greece, Austria and Portugal due to the outbreaks of bluetongue disease registered in these countries.
The ban was imposed on November 18, according to the press service of the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine.
Moreover, Ukraine also banned on November 20 the import of horses from Israel due to an outbreak of equine viral arteritis.
