"Within the crisis... we [both companies] should understand each other, get together and not blackmail each other," Naidyuk said.
He said that Kyivvodokanal has debts to Kyivenerho saying that the city owes his company the bigger part of its debt to the energy distribution company.
Naidiuk criticized Kyivenerho for unwillingness to fulfill its liabilities and work productively over implementation of its direct duties.
He said that in November, the leadership of Kyivenerho recalled its signatures under the contracts on holding of the mutual payments worth Hr 72.5 million.
These funds should have been channeled for repayment of the debts of the Kyivvodokanal for electricity supplied by the Kyivenerho.
Besides, he said that Kyivenerho has also recalled the signatures under the contracts on purchase of cold water for its further heating.
Thus, there is formally no hot water producer in Kyiv, though earlier, the Kyivenerho accepted the municipal boilers being obliged to become the hot water producer.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Kyivenerho intended to limit the energy supplies to Kyivvodokanal as of Dec. 4.
Kyivenerho said that the debt of the Kyivvodokanal by December 1 made up over UAH 392 million, of it over UAH 120 million is the debt for 2008.
The Kyivenerho and the Kyivvodokanal monopolize their markets provide heat, electricity and water supplies in Kyiv.
