Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk met with British Foreign Secretary William Hague in Kyiv on May 6, the Ukrainian government's press service has reported.

“The British foreign secretary said that he welcomes the steps made
by Ukraine to implement the Geneva agreements, noting that the Russian
Federation is not making such steps,” reads the report.

Yatseniuk said that Ukraine was facing security and economic
challenges and stressed the need for coordinated action by the
international community.

As reported, Hague arrived on a two-day working visit to Kyiv on May
6. During the visit, he is to meet with Acting Foreign Minister Andriy
Deschytsia, Acting Defense Minister Mykhailo Koval and National Security
and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Parubiy.
