The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan has issued a temporary permit to Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) to perform flights on the Kyiv-Almaty-Kyiv route from June 6 to July 10.

"The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan has issued a temporary permit to Ukraine International Airlines to perform flights on the Kyiv-Almaty-Kyiv route from June 6 to July 10. The aviation authorities of Kazakhstan made the decision to prevent agiotage from the side of passengers who bought tickets for UIA’s flights in connection with the Euro 2012 European Football Championship," reads a statement by the Ukraine 2012 information center.

According to the ministry’s press service, the company was not permitted to perform this flight for the whole summer, as it had not provided a full package of documents required for the issuing of this permit.
