The Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine hopes that the country will double grain exports to Saudi Arabia in some two or three years, to seven million tonnes per season.
"In two or three years we are planning to increase grain supplies to Saudi Arabia to seven million tonnes," Ukraine’s Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk told reporters in Kyiv on March 13.
According to him, Ukraine delivers some 3.5-4 million tonnes of grain per marketing year to the country.
