You're reading: Agrocity-Invest launches elevator in Sumy region

Kyiv-based Agrocity-Invest LLC last week launched an elevator complex – Krolevetsky Elevator (Sumy region) with a storage capacity of 50,000 tonnes of grain, investing Hr 78 million in it, the press service of Sumy regional administration has reported.

The press release says that wheat, corn, soybeans, rapeseeds and other grains will be stored at the elevator.

The administration said that thanks to a good yield this year (a rise of 29%), gross grain harvesting in 2011 in Sumy region will reach up to 2.5 million tonnes, including over one million tonnes of early crops that have already been harvested.

The administration said that it has formed a strategic grain stock of 35,000 tonnes.

Krolevetsky Elevator was founded in March 2010.
