The Amstor supermarket chain and Kyiv-based Multi Development Ukraine LLC, which is the developer of the Forum Lviv shopping mall, have announced termination of cooperation under the Forum Lviv project.

“The combination of a different market situation for the Donetsk-based supermarket chain and the developers’ ambitions has translated into the jointly made decision,” Multi Development Ukraine said in a statement.

The lease agreement was signed by the parties early in 2012, and the Amstor supermarket became one of Forum Lviv’s anchor tenants.

A new tenant will be named by the developer soon.

Amstor was founded in 2003. It operates the Amstor supermarket chain and is an asset owned by Smart-Holding, one of Ukraine’s largest financial and industrial groups.

Multi Development Ukraine is part of Multi Corporation (the Netherlands), which is a leading owner, manager and (re)developer of high quality shopping centers across Europe and Turkey. It works in 14 countries with the headquarters based in the Netherlands since 1982.
