You're reading: Antonov state enterprise sees 29% rise in net profit in 2012

Kyiv-based Antonov state-run enterprise has updated its financial results for January-March 2012 year-over-year: the net profit over the period grew by 29.39%, to Hr 35.25 million, reads a company report.

The report posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market says that its net revenue over the period soared by 2.4 times, to Hr 801.42 million, gross profit was up by 43.39% and profit from operations rose by 33.38%, to Hr 97.37 million.

According to a quarterly report of the company published in the system on April 24, 2012, its net profit in Q1, 2012 grew by 19.4%, to Hr 5.27 million, net revenue grew by 2.4 times, to Hr 797.26 million, gross profit rose by 40.5%, to Hr 160.76 million and profit from operations fell by 17.5%, to Hr 60.22 million.

The core business of Antonov Enterprise (formerly Antonov Design Bureau) is aircraft designing. Since 2008, it has belonged to the Antonov State Holding along with its branch, the state Antonov Serial Plant (formerly Aviant), the 410th Civil Aviation Plant (both based Kyiv) and Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company.
