"We must stop the practice of raids on businesses," he said at a meeting with representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk regional association of local government agencies in Kryvy Rih on Thursday.

Azarov said that steps should be taken to ensure favorable conditions for business development.

"Believe me that any signal of raids on businesses is being considered," he said.

He also stressed the need to develop projects at the local level in order to attract investment.
